How it works:

  1. You’ll receive a text, email, and reminders from Nuptial with a link to purchase your policy.
  2. When completing the application:
    • Select “Organizer/Host” as your role
    • Choose your wedding date and any rehearsal, setup days, or days you’re staying in the Oak Villa (no extra cost)
    • Estimate your guest count (roughly 80% of invited guests)
    • Use your current legal name as listed on the rental agreement
  3. Once purchased, Eagle Oak Ranch receives a copy automatically. No further action needed.

This policy meets all requirements:

  • Primary and Noncontributory language with Waiver of Subrogation
  • $1M coverage
  • Host liquor liability
  • All additional insureds per the contract

Note: If you are having open flames at your event, indicate this in the application so coverage applies. There is no added cost.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Am I required to purchase event insurance? Even if it’s not a wedding and/or there’s no alcohol? Yes. Our contract requires clients to be responsible for certain liabilities. This policy is tailored to meet those obligations simply and affordably.
  • Can I purchase event insurance from another provider? No. We require all clients to use Nuptial to ensure the policy meets our specific requirements.
  • I found a cheaper policy elsewhere. Why is this one more expensive? Other policies typically don’t include the language we require. Nuptial’s policy is specifically designed to meet our contract terms at the lowest possible cost.
  • What’s the deductible? $0. This policy is designed to protect you and your event, even when things don’t go as planned.
  • Do I need to email you a copy? No. When you purchase through the link above, we receive the documents automatically.
  • Does this cover my vendors? No. Event insurance protects your interest as the host, not your vendors. Each vendor is responsible for their own coverage. We can discuss which vendors require insurance. We do, however, have other options for vendors who require assistance with meeting our insurance requirements. Give us a call or send us an email.
  • Can I add my vendors to this policy? No. This policy is designed for event hosts, not service providers like caterers, DJs, or photographers.
  • Does this protect my investment if we need to cancel? The required coverage does not. However, you can add optional Cancellation & Postponement coverage within Nuptial’s application. This covers situations like illness, injury, natural disaster, or military duty. COVID and change of heart are excluded.
